This 5 day mindfulness challenge is completely free for you to join. Starting on Sunday 6th August at 8pm.

Each day we will go over a new mindfulness strategy and will practice a short meditation. The session will consist of no more than 20 minutes. That’s it! All you have to do is commit to 20 minutes per day for 5 days to get you started on your a daily mindfulness journey.

Is this for me?

This challenge is for anyone looking to start meditating, come back to a meditation practice, interested in breathwork and / or looking for something to help with fatigue, stress, anxiety, irritable gut symptoms.

Meditation can be an excellent tool for managing symptoms of IBS and IBD. Meditation has shown to improve sleep, daytime concentration, reduce inflammation and reduce symptoms of diarrhoea, increased urgency cramping and nausea.

It is one of the best (if not the best) tools you can learn when trying to manage stress and gut complaints, because it is always accessible to you, wherever you are and at whatever time of your day or place in your life.

How does it work?

Use the form to sign up below and you will receive an email on how to add yourself to the ‘5 Day Challenge’ Facebook Page. Sessions will be held via zoom, so if you don’t have facebook you can opt to receive the link via email instead.

Find a comfortable & quiet spot in your home. Log in to Zoom at 8pm (AEDT) each day, starting on August 6th 2023, until August 10th. Each session will for run for no longer than 20 minutes. You won’t be required to have your camera on, so just turn up as you are.

You can sit on a chair, a meditation stool or cushion, whatever you choose! There are no expectations.

After the 5 days, you should:

  • feel confident to continue with a daily mindfulness practice

  • feel a little calmer and a little clearer

  • notice you are sleeping deeper

  • recognise a reduction in gut symptoms

  • be able to manage physical and emotional stressors better

  • be able to find the calm in the chaos
